European Union to become member of the Western Central Pacific Fisheries Commission in 2005
Press release announcing that the EU is to become a Member of the newly established Regional Fisheries Organisation (RFO) for the Western and Central Pacific tuna resources. EU Commissioner Joe Borg welcomes the move; inaugural meeting was held in Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia, on 9-10 December.
